Workshops/Training for Faculty
Teaching, Learning + Technology offers faculty enrichment workshops each semester for instructors and teaching assistants. Visit the Teaching, Learning + Technology Web site to learn how to register.
Lotus Notes (e-mail) training classes are offered to faculty, while specialized training in other University applications such as SOLAR, PeopleSoft, Stony Brook University Reporting, MySBfiles and other forms of file sharing and collaboration can be arranged. SkillSoft is yet another training resource offered to faculty. It is a Web-based training program focused on business skills and technology training. To participate in the online classes, faculty must have the appropriate Java Runtime Environment installed on their computer. Download the latest version of Java now.
