Educational discounts are available to students purchasing Dell, Apple, or Lenovo computers.
Dell
Stony Brook and Dell offer students an easy way to purchase Dell equipment online for below-retail pricing by at least 10%. You have the option of shopping through a list of Recommended Bundles or browsing through the Full Catalog and customizing a machine to your own specifications. The cost of the recommended bundles includes three-year limited warranties plus three-year, next-business-day, on-site service, phone support, and Dell's CompleteCare (which covers repairs and replacements for accidental damage such as liquid spills, drops, electrical surges, damaged or broken LCDs, etc.)

Apple
Use your educational discount to purchase Apple merchandise online or through Seawolves MarketPlace located just off the main lobby of the Student Activities Center on main campus. Recommended MacBook systems include the AppleCare Protection Plan. This provides comprehensive coverage, a three-year limited warranty, phone support and global repair coverage including parts and labor from anywhere in the world.

Lenovo
Stony Brook and Lenovo teamed up to provide special deals on four different Lenovo ThinkPad notebooks for SB students. All four recommended ThinkPads come with Lenovo's extended service agreement which includes parts and labor and pick-up and return for three years from the purchase date. Students can opt to build their own ThinkPad notebook or customize a ThinkCentre desktop system to suit their needs.
