Public Jacks
Public Jacks are available for use to Univeristy affiliates who have a NetID. They are available in the following locations on main campus:
- Student Activities Center
- New Commuter Lounge (16 Data Jacks)
- Old Commuter Lounge (4 Data Jacks)
- Melville Library
- North Reading Room, 2nd Floor
- Stacks 2nd, 3rd, 4th floors
- Library SINC Site
- Union SINC Site
- Computer Science Library
You must register your computer on ResNet in order to gain access to the network (from the above locations). Before you can register, you must scan your machine with CAT to ensure your machine is up-to-date. You can then register your machine on ResNet. Registration lasts one semester at which point, you will need to register your computer again.
